This alcohol from Elastoplast is intended for simple disinfection of healthy skin and for skin hygiene. The 70% vol concentration makes it bactericidal, virucidal and yeasticidal, with an immediate biocidal effect.

The efficacy has been tested against the standards EN1291: 2005, EN13727: 2012, EN14476: 2013, EN1650: 2008 and EN 13624: 2004. The product is classified as a P1 biocide for human hygiene.

The composition consists of 64.5% (m/m) alcohol denat combined with 0.1% (m/m) benzalkonium chloride. According to the manufacturer, this combination provides effective action with good skin tolerance.
