The Revitalessence Skin Glow foundation from Shiseido is a liquid foundation with medium coverage. The result is glowy rather than matte: according to the manufacturer, the skin gets a vibrant glow that remains visible even after the make-up has been removed.
The formula contains two prebiotics, fermented kefir+ and niacinamide. This combination hydrates the skin for 24 hours, measured in an instrumental test with 27 women. Fermented kefir+ strengthens the skin's barrier function, while niacinamide contributes to smoother, clearer skin.
In a consumer test with 109 women, the skin was smoother and clearer after one week and fine lines were visibly reduced. The foundation is dermatologically tested and has a neutral undertone. Avoid direct contact with the eyes.
