Reuzel's Extreme Hold Matte Pomade is designed for dry, messy looks with plenty of texture. The formula is water-based, dries matte, and adds volume and definition to the hair. Reuzel rates the hold as 11/10 and the shine as 1/10.
You apply the pomade to towel-dried or dry hair: take a knuckle-sized amount from the tin, rub it between your palms and work from the crown forward. Massage it from the scalp to the tips and use a bit more on drier areas. Style with your fingers for a textured look, or with a comb for a sleeker, classic look.
Because the formula is water-soluble, the pomade washes out with water without leaving any residue. The main ingredients are beeswax and castor oil. The scent is a light, subtle sweet rum. For extra hold, you can combine the pomade with Reuzel Pink Grease.
Reuzel comes from the barbers at Schorem in Rotterdam, who create classic looks with a modern touch.
