Pilot Frixion Ball erasable ballpoint pens combine the convenience of a regular ballpoint pen with the flexibility of a pencil. Thanks to the special thermo-sensitive ink, you can easily erase written text with the integrated eraser.
About this product erasable ballpoint pen innovation
Pilot Frixion Ball ballpoint pens use unique thermo-sensitive Metamo ink that reacts to temperature. When rubbed with the silicone eraser, the ink becomes invisible due to heat generation (+60°C). Interesting detail: the ink reappears at temperatures below -10°C.
Each ballpoint pen is equipped with a durable tungsten carbide ball that ensures a smooth and consistent writing experience. The ergonomic handle fits comfortably in the hand and the streamlined design gives the pen a modern look. The ink dries quickly, which is especially useful for left-handers.
These ballpoint pens are suitable for both children and adults and are ideal for notes, homework, annotations and creative projects where corrections are desired. The pens are refillable with replaceable refills and are made from 50% recycled materials.
Please note: because the ink is thermo-sensitive, these pens are not suitable for official documents that need to remain permanent. At high temperatures (such as in a warm car), the ink may temporarily disappear.

Yes, by placing the pen in the freezer at temperatures below -10°C, the ink reappears. This works because the thermo-sensitive ink reacts to temperature changes.
Are these pens suitable for official documents?
No, these pens are not suitable for contracts, checks or other official documents. The ink can disappear at high temperatures and is therefore not permanent.
How long does a refill last?
The writing length depends on your writing style and use, but Frixion refills generally last a long time. Replacement refills are available separately when the ink runs out.
Does the eraser work on all types of paper?
The eraser works best on regular copy paper and writing pads. On very smooth paper or specially coated paper, erasing may be less effective.
