Description
USB 3.0 stick with 64 GB from Philips' Vivid range, with a swivel mechanism that tucks the connector away when you're not using the stick. Files are read at speeds of up to 100 MB/s.
About this product longer description
The Philips Vivid USB Flash Drive is designed for storing and transferring files. The stick supports Super Speed USB 3.0 and reads files at speeds of up to 100 MB/s, so even larger files transfer quickly. The stick is also compatible with USB 2.0, so it also works in older ports.
With 64 GB of storage capacity, there's room for at least 18,000 photos or 11,000 mp3 files. These figures are based on compressed 10-megapixel jpg photos and mp3s averaging three minutes (256 kb/s, approximately 5.7 MB per file).
Instead of a separate cap, this stick has a swivel mechanism with a rotating system: the USB connector rotates into the plastic housing and is protected this way when the drive is not in use. An indicator light shows whether the stick is connected properly and working, and flashes while files are being copied to and from the drive.
The stick works with Windows XP and higher, MacOS 9.0 and higher and Linux 2.4.0 and higher.
