PoE injector with a 90 W budget that sends power and data to your device over a single network cable. Supports IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at and 802.3bt at 10/100/1000 Mbit/s.
About this product longer description
The LevelOne POI-5003 is a PoE adapter and injector: it adds power to a regular network connection, so a device such as an access point or IP camera doesn't need a separate power socket nearby. Power and data travel together through the same ethernet cable.
The total Power over Ethernet budget is 90 W. This means the POI-5003 covers not only the classic PoE standards IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at, but also IEEE 802.3bt for devices that require more power.
On the network side, the injector works with Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet and Ethernet LAN, with transfer speeds of 10, 100 and 1000 Mbit/s. The supported network standards are IEEE 802.3, 802.3u and 802.3ab, so the speed of your existing gigabit connection stays intact.
The housing is black and measures 65.3 x 40 x 179.5 mm (w x d x h). The product has a visible CE marking and its item number is POI-5003.

Frequently asked questions 3 questions
How much power can this injector deliver?
The total Power over Ethernet budget is 90 W. Before connecting, check how much power your device needs, so it stays within that 90 W.
Which PoE standards are supported?
The POI-5003 supports IEEE 802.3af, IEEE 802.3at and IEEE 802.3bt. Your device must support PoE according to one of these standards.
Will this reduce my gigabit speed?
No. The injector supports 10, 100 and 1000 Mbit/s via IEEE 802.3, 802.3u and 802.3ab, so a gigabit connection keeps working at gigabit speed.
