The LevelOne POS-5001 is a PoE splitter: the device separates the power and data that come in together over a single network cable. The data continues on to your device, the power comes out via the USB-C output with Power Delivery 3.0. This way, you can place equipment in a spot where there's no power outlet nearby.
The splitter works with Power over Ethernet according to IEEE 802.3af, IEEE 802.3at and IEEE 802.3bt, and has an output power of 50 W. For the network, the POS-5001 supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X), which keeps a gigabit connection possible.
Three LED indicators show the status: activity, link and power. The housing is black and measures 53 x 24 x 80 mm.
