Against plaque and the effects this has on the gums. The gel contains chlorhexidine digluconate, a broad-spectrum antiseptic against the bacteria that form plaque.

About this product longer description

GUM Paroex toothpaste gel targets plaque and what plaque does to the gums. The basis of the formula is chlorhexidine digluconate, a broad-spectrum antiseptic that counters and prevents the growth of harmful bacteria responsible for plaque.

The gel also contains cetylpyridinium chloride. This anti-tartar agent neutralises bacterial toxins and so strengthens the effect of the chlorhexidine. The peroxide content of the formula is 0%.

For the gums themselves there are three caring components: vitamin E counters cell ageing and helps maintain healthy gums, aloe vera adds moisture and soothes irritated gums, and pro-vitamin B5 helps revitalise the gums and keep them firm and resilient.

The toothpaste has a paste texture and gives fresh breath. The gel is intended for adults and is not suitable for baby teeth. This is a non-medical product; the packaging is in French.
