The Colour Changing lipstick from Essence works with a pH-reactive formula. When applied, the lipstick reacts to your lips and an individual soft pink shade develops. Out of the packaging the product is transparent; the colour you end up seeing therefore differs from person to person.
The texture is semi-transparent and contains holo flakes, which gives a glossy effect. Because the formula enhances the natural lip colour rather than covering it, the lipstick is suitable for every skin tone. According to the manufacturer, the product is easy to apply and comfortable to wear.
The stick contains 3.4 grams of product and is vegan. The formula contains no SPF and is not classed as nourishing. Once opened, the product keeps for 12 months; unopened, the shelf life is more than 30 months. The packaging is Dutch-language.
