About this product longer description
An M.2 SSD can get warm during prolonged reading and writing. The MC1 Pro is a heatsink that absorbs and dissipates that heat, so the SSD can keep running at full read and write speed for longer.
The cooler has an integrated heatpipe. It carries the heat through the aluminium heatsink, resulting in lower temperatures than a heatsink without a heatpipe.
The MC1 Pro is made for M.2 2280 modules and works with both single-sided and double-sided modules, so also with SSDs that have memory chips on both sides. The heatsink measures 101 x 100 x 26 mm, which you need to allow for when positioning it around the M.2 slot.
Please note: this model is not suitable for the PlayStation 5.
