About this product longer description
With this UNI-T light meter, you can measure both incident and reflected light. With incident light, the light falls onto the subject; with reflected light, it bounces back from the subject towards the camera. After taking a measurement, you know how much intensity a light source gives off, and you can set the shutter speed, aperture and ISO on your camera for a well-exposed image.
The measuring range runs from 0 to 199,999 lux and the meter displays the value in lux or in fc (foot-candle). A memory function holds the minimum and maximum measurement, so you can compare a series of measurements without having to write them down each time.
The 1.64 inch LCD screen has a backlight, so you can also read the value in a dark room. The device switches itself off automatically and can also be switched off manually. It is powered by 3 AAA batteries, which are not included.
Besides studio and photography applications, this type of light meter is used in agriculture, environmental protection, sports, scientific research, in public places, and at home, in the office, in the laboratory or on construction sites.
