About this product longer description
This Ugreen cable (model US176) has a connector bent at a 90-degree angle. This means the cable sticks out sideways instead of straight down, which is handy if you hold your phone horizontally while charging, for example while gaming. According to Ugreen, this shape also reduces strain on the cable and the charging port.
Charging runs via Quick Charge 3.0 with a maximum power of 3 A. The specified operating current is 5 V / 3 A, 9 V / 2 A and 12 V / 1.5 A. An intelligent E-marker chip automatically adjusts voltage and current to the connected device. The cable is also equipped with a 7-step safety system that protects against overheating, overcharging, short circuits and overvoltage.
The cable is made from TPE with a nylon braid and fishing-line wrap around it, and uses tinned copper wire. Ugreen states that in a test procedure, the cable was bent, stretched and compressed 30,000 times. Besides charging, the cable is suitable for data transfer.
