About this product longer description
The Ugreen CM511 is a multiport adapter that expands one USB-C port on your laptop or tablet into five connections: an HDMI port, three USB-A ports and a USB-C port for power.
That USB-C port supports pass-through charging up to 100 W. You connect your own charger to the hub, so your laptop keeps charging while the other ports are in use. The hub itself has no separate power connection and gets its power via USB.
Via HDMI you drive an external monitor with video up to 4K at 30 Hz. The three USB-A ports are USB 3.0 and reach speeds of up to 5 Gbps, letting you transfer files, photos and videos from external drives, sticks or peripherals.
Ugreen states that the hub works with USB-C devices such as the MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, MacBook with an M1 or M2 chip, iMac, iPad Pro, Chromebook, Surface, Steam Deck and Switch.
