PoE adapter by Ubiquiti, model POE-24-12W. A Power over Ethernet adapter puts power onto the network cable, so the connected device receives power and data through a single cable.
About this product longer description
The Ubiquiti POE-24-12W is a PoE adapter from Ubiquiti's network range. PoE stands for Power over Ethernet: the power runs along the ethernet cable that also handles the data traffic.
That means the powered device itself doesn't need a separate power connection. This is handy in places where there's a network cable but no power outlet within reach.
This is the model POE-24-12W in black. Ubiquiti uses a specific type designation per device for the matching adapter. So check your own equipment's documentation to see which variant is specified, to make sure you order the right model.
