About this product longer description
The Sonoff DW2 RF is a window/door contact that detects when a door or window is opened. The signal is sent wirelessly via 433 MHz RF; the notification arrives in the app, so you can also see when an access point opened while you weren't home.
In the app, you can look back at opening moments up to three months. You can share the sensor with other users: they will then receive the same notifications as soon as someone opens the door. Via the IFTTT service, the sensor can be used as a trigger for other devices or routines.
In a smart scene in the eWeLink app, you link the sensor to a lamp, for example to turn the hallway light on or off when the door opens. The Sonoff Bridge is needed for this link.
The sensor is mounted with 3M adhesive, making it easy to move or remove. Mounting upside down or sideways also works, as long as the magnet is less than 5 mm from the sensor. The sensor runs on batteries.
