Frequently asked questions 4 questions
Which types of tea are suitable for the different temperatures?
Green and white teas are best at 70-80°C, oolong tea at 90°C, and black tea or rooibos at 95-100°C. Lower temperatures (50-60°C) are perfect for delicate herbal teas.
How long does it take for the water to reach the desired temperature?
At 100°C, it takes about 114 seconds (almost 2 minutes) for 1.7 liters of water. Lower temperatures are naturally reached faster.
Can I use the kettle without the temperature setting?
Yes, you can also use the kettle as a regular kettle by selecting the 100°C setting. All safety features will then work just like with a standard kettle.
How do I maintain the limescale filter?
The limescale filter is removable and washable. Rinse it regularly under running water and replace the filter if necessary for optimal water quality.
