The Reuzel clay spray is a texturising spray designed to add texture and definition to the hair with a matte finish. The spray helps control frizz and adds volume, and is suitable for all hair types. The formula is fragrance-free and water-soluble, so the product rinses out of the hair with water.
Two ingredients determine the result. Kaolin absorbs oil, giving the matte finish; on the manufacturer's shine scale, the spray scores 0 out of 10. The formula also contains the T-4 Tonic Blend: a combination of witch hazel extract, nettle leaf extract, rosemary extract and horsetail root extract, intended by Reuzel for shine, hydration and strengthening of the hair.
Before use, shake the bottle well. You can spray it into your hair while blow-drying, or apply it to towel-dried to dry hair for a more natural, lived-in look. The spray can also be combined with other Reuzel styling products: apply the clay spray to damp hair, blow-dry and then use the Clay Matte Pomade for more defined texture.
Reuzel was founded by the barbers of Schorem in Rotterdam. The clay spray is available in 100 ml and 355 ml; this is the 355 ml bottle.
