Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) is a common flowering plant that mainly grows in the temperate regions of the northern hemisphere. The root of this plant has a long history of use by Native American, European and Asian herbalists.

Dandelion root naturally contains various compounds, including inulin, sesquiterpenes and phenolic compounds such as flavonoids, as well as minerals and phytosterols. Now Foods uses an organic dandelion root for this.

Each capsule contains 500 mg of that root. Besides the root, the composition consists of hypromellose for the cellulose capsule, stearic acid from a plant-based source and silicon dioxide. This makes the supplement vegan and no allergens are stated.
