Flossing around bridges calls for a floss you can get under the middle section of the bridge. This Oral-B Superfloss combines a stiff end, a spongy middle part and regular floss in one pre-cut strand. The pack contains 50 strands.
About this product longer description
Oral-B Superfloss is dental floss specially designed for teeth with bridges, braces or implants. Where regular floss slides down between two teeth, with a bridge you have to go under the middle section. That only works with a floss you can thread through first. Superfloss solves that with a fixed three-part structure.
Each strand starts with a stiffened end, the threader. You thread that stiff piece under the bridge or behind the brace wire, so you pull the rest of the strand into place. Then comes the spongy middle part, which is wider and fills the space around the middle section of the bridge or the bracket. The last part is regular floss for the normal spaces between the teeth.
The strands are pre-cut to a fixed length, so you do not need to measure or tear anything off. You take one from the pack and use it for the spot you want to clean. This Oral-B pack contains 50 individual strands.
Superfloss is intended as a supplement to brushing, not a replacement. Not sure about the right technique around your bridge, braces or implant? Ask your dentist or dental hygienist to explain.

Frequently asked questions 4 questions
How do I use Superfloss with a bridge?
Thread the stiff end under the middle section of the bridge and pull the strand through. The spongy middle part then sits in the area around the middle section. Gently move the strand back and forth there.
Why does the strand consist of three parts?
Each part has its own function. The stiffened end serves to get the strand into place, the spongy part fills wider spaces and the regular floss is for the normal spaces between the teeth.
Can I also use this floss with braces?
Yes, the product is suitable for braces. You thread the stiff end behind the brace wire, so you can still reach the spaces between the teeth.
Do I need to cut the floss to length myself?
No, the strands are pre-cut. You take one from the pack and use it straight away. The pack contains 50 strands.
