Privacy filter makes sure your screen is only clearly readable straight on; from the side, it turns dark. The tempered glass is 0.3 mm thick and has a hardness of 9H.
About this product longer description
This screen protector from NuGlas combines screen protection with a privacy filter. That filter limits the viewing angle: straight on, you see the image normally, while the screen turns darker from the side. This prevents people next to you from reading along, for example on public transport or in the office.
The protector is made of layered, heat-resistant tempered glass with a thickness of 0.3 mm and a hardness of 9H. The glass offers protection against dirt, scratches and knocks. The 5D curved edges fit the screen surface and are rounded off, which feels pleasant to use.
Despite the privacy filter, brightness and colour reproduction remain intact according to the manufacturer. An oleophobic coating on the top reduces fingerprints and smudges, so the screen looks clean for longer.
The protector comes with an installation set with cleaning wipes and a dust sticker. Fitting it takes five steps: cleaning the screen, drying it, removing dust, placing the protector and pressing down in the centre. According to the manufacturer, it can be removed without residue remaining.
