Mineral sun protection with a zinc oxide-based UV filter, suitable for both face and body. The cream is water-resistant and protects immediately from the moment you apply it.

About this product longer description

Naïf protects the skin with a mineral UV filter based on zinc oxide, instead of with chemical filters. Zinc oxide forms a protective layer on the skin that reflects the sun's rays, so the protection works from the moment of application. The formula has SPF 30 and protects against both UVA and UVB radiation.

A UV booster has been added to the formula: bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine. This filter is not absorbed but stays on the skin. Natural oils from coconut, sunflower and olive help the cream spread smoothly without feeling heavy or sticky. Because the protection is mineral, the chance of a skin reaction is small, even with sensitive or reactive skin.

The substances oxybenzone, octinoxate, octocrylene and avobenzone have been deliberately left out; they are associated with damage to coral reefs and oceans. The cream is water-resistant and suitable for face and body, including during sport or skiing. The 50 ml tube is made from recycled plastic.

Ingredients

Koraalvriendelijk — zonder oxybenzone, octinoxate, octocrylene en avobenzone. Verrijkt met natuurlijke oliën (kokos, zonnebloem, olijf) voor een soepele uitsmering. Naïf Minerale Zonnebrand SPF50 bevat geen ingrediënten zoals oxybenzone, octinoxate, octocrylene, avobenzone. Deze ingrediënten vermijden we liever. In plaats daarvan bevat de zonnebrand zinkoxide: een natuurlijk ingrediënt die een beschermde laag op de huid legt en daardoor zonnestralen weerkaatst. Om de SPF van onze zonnebrand te garanderen hebben we in onze nieuwe formules ook een zogenaamde ‘booster’ toegevoegd: bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine. Dit is een nieuwe generatie UV-filter die niet intrekt, maar op de huid blijft liggen. Hierdoor is het veilig te gebruiken, zelfs op de gevoelige huid.
