This gel sheet mask from Medicube combines kojic acid with turmeric extract (Curcuma Longa Root Extract). This combination targets reducing pigmentation and refreshing dull or sallow skin, with the aim of a more even complexion.
The gel texture has a cooling effect and adheres to the skin, so the mask stays in place and doesn't shift while it's on. Besides kojic acid and turmeric, the formula contains niacinamide, hydrolysed collagen, ceramide NP, allantoin, adenosine and ascorbic acid, among other ingredients. Medicube classifies the mask as a collagen mask.
Use is simple: apply the mask to a cleansed face, leave it on for 10 to 20 minutes and then gently massage the remaining serum into the skin. The formula is alcohol-free and dermatologically tested. Since kojic acid can make the skin more sensitive to sunlight, the manufacturer recommends using a sunscreen during the day.
