The MACLEAN MCE200 is a diagnostic device that you plug into the OBD2 port of a car. Via bluetooth 4.0, the scanner connects to a smartphone or tablet; reading out data and fault messages then takes place in an app.
The scanner can be used with both iOS and Android. The app is needed for the full functionality. The MCE200 does not need wifi or a mobile data connection, and the device itself does not connect to the internet. No user data is processed or shared.
The housing measures 103 x 65 x 24 mm. The instructions are set up universally and therefore not tied to one language. The device carries a visible CE marking and comes with a two-year manufacturer's warranty.
