The Tattoo Liner Gel Pencil by Maybelline New York is a sharpenable eye pencil with a gel texture. That soft, creamy substance applies in one motion and follows the shape of the eyelid, so you draw a continuous line in a single stroke.

The formula is waterproof and does not transfer. Maybelline New York states that the line stays visible for up to 36 hours without fading or smudging. The finish is matte, so no gloss or shimmer in the line.

Because the texture is creamy, you can still smudge the line right after applying for a softer, blurred effect. After that the formula sets. The pencil is sharpenable, so you sharpen the tip yourself when it gets blunt.
