LEGO Technic compact loader - 30710 - polybag

The compact loader from the LEGO Technic range is a building set of 52 plastic pieces supplied in a polybag. Once built, you're left with a vehicle you can play with: turn the knob and the arm with the loading bucket goes up or back down.

That turning knob is the defining part of this set. The movement comes entirely from the mechanics of the bricks themselves, as no batteries are needed and the model has no power source. Within the STEM categories, this set falls under engineering: it shows how a simple control sets an arm in motion.

The set fits within the cars theme and is suited to role play on a construction site. The building instructions are universal and so are not tied to a language. No minifigure is included. LEGO recommends an age of 7 and up; the model is not suitable for children under 3 years, and use under adult supervision is recommended. The model was released in 2025 under item number 30710.
