10 mm chips in a single motion: the KINGHOFF chip cutter divides a whole potato into 36 equal pieces. The stainless steel blade is removable and dishwasher safe.
About this product longer description
This chip cutter from KINGHOFF consists of a housing with non-slip feet and a removable stainless steel blade. You place a potato in the cutting chamber and press down the lever: in one motion the potato falls apart into 36 equal pieces 10 mm thick. Because all the chips are the same thickness, they also cook evenly.
The blade is not only intended for potatoes. You can also cut carrot, cucumber or sweet potato into strips with it, for salads or snacks, for example. Vegetables with a diameter of up to about 6.5 cm give the best result. Hard vegetables such as sweet potato should only be cut once they are at least partly cooked.
After use, you take the blade out of the housing. Blade and housing are dishwasher safe, so cleaning takes little effort. The non-slip feet under the base keep the appliance in place while you apply force.
