Eau des Merveilles from Hermès is an eau de toilette with a woody signature, composed for women. The heart of the fragrance is an amber, woody accord that doesn't just linger in the base, but carries through into the heart notes. The result is described as sparkling and warm.
The composition was created in 2004 by Ralph Schwieger and Nathalie Feisthauer. The starting point was a distinctly feminine fragrance without visible florals: the feminine tone therefore doesn't come from a floral bouquet, but from the amber, woody accord.
The eau de toilette comes in a 100 ml bottle, one per pack. The bottle is not refillable. The information on the packaging is in Dutch. The formula is based on alcohol denat. and contains, among others, limonene, linalool, coumarin, geraniol and citronellol.
The product is intended for external use only. Do not spray into the eyes and don't use the bottle near open flames: the contents contain alcohol. Keep the bottle away from heat, sparks and hot surfaces.
