The formula contains piroctone olamine, which helps fight the signs of dandruff, and green tea extract (camellia sinensis), which helps soothe the scalp. Salicylic acid is also included in the ingredient list. According to Garnier, the shampoo prevents the return of visible dandruff for up to two weeks; that claim comes from a clinical study with a two-week follow-up after four weeks of use.
