Dishwasher salt for the dishwasher that counteracts limescale in tap water. It softens the water, protecting both the machine and your dishes and cutlery.
About this product longer description
Limescale in tap water can reduce how well a dishwasher works. To prevent limescale build-up, dishwashers are fitted with a water softening system, and that system runs on special salt. This Finish dishwasher salt tops up that system.
The salt softens the water that runs through the machine. This gives calcium deposits less chance to build up on the inside of the dishwasher and on the filters, and spares your dishes and cutlery too. This helps prevent water marks on glasses and cutlery.
Softer water also improves how well your detergent works. So the salt doesn't replace your dishwasher detergent, it supports it. The 1.2 kg pack is good for around 60 washes. The packaging and instructions are in German.
