Eucryl tooth powder is an old-fashioned type of oral care, previously known as smoker's powder or smile powder. The fine powder is intended to remove stains and discolouration from the teeth and leaves them feeling smooth and clean afterwards.
Using it is different from toothpaste. You wet your toothbrush, shake off the excess water and press the brush into the powder, so a thin layer stays on the bristles. Then you brush your teeth the way your dentist recommends.
The formula contains no fluoride and no hydrogen peroxide. The ingredient list includes calcium carbonate, dicalcium phosphate dihydrate, sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium saccharin, among others. The product is intended for adults and is not suitable for milk teeth.
The powder comes in a 50 gram pack with Dutch-language text and is made in England. Once opened, the product keeps for 12 months.
