The edding 8902 repair wax is intended for repairing scratches and dents in horizontal wooden surfaces that see intensive use: parquet, laminate and floorboards.
It is a hard wax. It first has to be melted with the edding 8903 melting tool for wooden floor wax, which is available separately. The melted wax is dripped into the damage and fills it.
The set consists of three colour shades that you can mix with each other. That lets you match the wax to the colour of the floor and imitate the wood grain: after about ten seconds of cooling, you scratch grooves into the wax and fill them again with a darker or lighter shade. You remove excess wax with the grooves on the handle of the melting tool.
The hard waxes consist of a blend of mineral waxes and are coloured with earth and oxide pigments. The product is made in Germany.
