About this product longer description
This repair set is designed for repairing damage and scratches in wooden floors: parquet, laminate and floorboards, and other horizontal wooden surfaces that get heavy use.
The set contains three hard waxes in blendable colour shades. By combining shades, you can mimic the wood grain, so the repair blends in with the existing surface.
Hard wax needs to be melted first. For this, you use the edding 8903 melting tool for wood floor wax, which is available separately. You clean the surface, drip melted wax into the damage and let it cool for about ten seconds. Then you use the melting tool to scratch grooves into the wax and fill them with a darker or lighter shade to create the grain. You remove excess wax with the grooves on the handle of the melting tool.
The waxes consist of a blend of mineral waxes and are coloured with earth and oxide pigments. They are manufactured in Germany.

Do I need anything else to apply this wax?
Yes. The hard wax needs to be melted before filling, using the edding 8903 melting tool for wood floor wax. That tool is not included in this set and is available separately.
