About this product longer description

The DrayTek VigorAP 802 is an access point from DrayTek's VigorAP series. An access point adds a wireless access point to a network that already exists. Devices nearby then connect via this access point instead of via the existing point alone.

This model comes in a wall-plug design. This means the device is plugged straight into a socket, without a separate stand or mounting to a wall or ceiling. Where you place it therefore partly determines where the wireless coverage ends up.

The VigorAP 802 works wirelessly according to the AC standard. Devices that support this wifi standard can connect to it.

The product falls within the network category and is intended for use within an existing network setup, not as a replacement for it.
