Bleaching powder for fabric that has become discoloured because colours have run in the wash. The 200 g powder can be used by hand or in the washing machine.

About this product longer description

Intensely coloured garments can bleed during washing and transfer dye residue to the rest of your laundry. This colour-removing powder from Dr. Beckmann is designed to remove those stains, so the original colour of your laundry comes back.

The product is suitable for white fabric and for colourfast coloured fabric. You can remove colour by hand or in the washing machine, at any temperature. Always follow the temperature indication and the care instructions on the garment.

For coloured laundry, a colourfastness test is needed beforehand. To do this, dissolve 1 teaspoon of powder in 100 ml of hot water and dampen the garment with it in an inconspicuous spot. If the colour doesn't change while applying it and during roughly 30 minutes of contact time, nor after washing and drying, the product can be used.

For stubborn discolouration, the manufacturer recommends removing colour in a tub: the longer contact time strengthens the process. The skin-friendliness of the powder has been dermatologically tested.
