About this product longer description
The Waydoo Subnado is an underwater scooter that you control with your fingers. You choose from three speed settings and reach a speed of up to 1.4 m/s. The maximum diving depth is 60 metres, so the device can be used in the pool as well as while snorkelling or diving. A diving certificate is not needed for use in shallow water.
The drive works with a four-blade propeller. The device weighs 1.4 kg and measures about 38 x 6 cm, so it fits in a backpack or hand luggage. The battery capacity of 98 Wh falls within the limit allowed on aircraft.
Using the quick-mount system, you attach the Subnado to your arm, leg or shoulder with adapters. On the 1/4-20 UNC mount you fit up to three accessories, for example a GoPro or an underwater light. Besides the thumb controller, finger protection, a shoulder holder and a handle are supplied.
A full charge takes about 1.2 hours and gives up to 56 minutes of use. The scooter also works as a power bank with an output of up to 100 W, letting you charge a phone or laptop, for example. The housing is made of aluminium, in black.
