You plug the AMiO heater and defroster fan into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket. The device runs on 12 volts and has a power rating of 150 watts, which it uses to blow warm air onto the windscreen or into the interior.
Besides heating and defrosting, the device can also blow cold air. That makes it usable not only in winter, but also in warmer months as an ordinary fan.
You can position the fan horizontally or vertically, so you direct the airflow to where you need it. The housing is made of plastic and finished in black.
For safety, the device is fitted with overheating protection.
