The Colour Elixir is a lipstick in stick form with a glossy finish. The colour effect is long-lasting and the shade falls within the pink colour group.
The base of the formula consists of castor oil combined with plant-based waxes such as candelilla wax and carnauba wax. The list also includes nourishing ingredients: shea butter, avocado oil, coconut oil, squalane, aloe vera leaf extract, silk powder and green tea extract. Vitamin E in the form of tocopherol and tocopheryl acetate and vitamin A as retinyl palmitate have also been added. The formula is dermatologically tested.
It contains fragrance, with limonene and benzyl benzoate as fragrance components, and propylparaben as a preservative. The lipstick doesn't contain SPF, so you'll need a separate product for sun protection for your lips. Once opened, the stick can be used for 24 months or longer. The packaging is English-language and Coty France is listed as the manufacturer.
