About this product automatic lighting control
The Maclean MCE35 dusk-to-dawn switch provides automatic lighting when it gets dark. The external sensor measures the light intensity in the environment and switches on connected lamps at dusk.
Thanks to the external probe, you can optimally place the sensor for accurate ambient light measurement. The light intensity is adjustable between 2 and 100 LUX, so you can precisely tune the switching point to your situation.
With a maximum load of 3450W and 15A, you can connect multiple lamps or other electrical appliances. The sensor is splash-proof and operates reliably at temperatures from -20°C to +40°C.
Suitable for automatic control of lighting around homes, gardens, shop windows or other areas where you want automatic light at dusk.

How do I adjust the light intensity?
The light intensity is adjustable between 2 and 100 LUX via a rotary knob on the device. At a lower setting, the lighting switches on earlier; at a higher setting, later.
Can I connect LED lamps?
Yes, the dusk-to-dawn switch is suitable for LED lighting and other types of lamps up to a maximum of 3450W. Always check the total wattage of all connected lamps.
How far can the external sensor be placed?
The external sensor is connected to the switch via a cable. The cable length determines the maximum distance for optimal placement of the light sensor.
Is professional installation required?
For safety, we recommend having the installation performed by a certified electrician. It involves 220-240V voltage and flush-mounting in the meter cabinet or switch box.
