L'Eau d'Issey eau de parfum intense is a women's fragrance from the floral fragrance family with a pronounced aquatic character. The scent was composed by perfumer Amandine Clerc-Marie, who drew inspiration from the ocean exploration project 1Ocean by photographer Alexis Rosenfeld, set up in collaboration with UNESCO.
The heart of the perfume revolves around a Posidonia accord: a composition created specially for this fragrance that refers to the underwater meadows of seagrass. Those soft, green-floral notes are lifted by ylang-ylang. As the fragrance dries on the skin, warm vanilla comes forward in the base and a soft trail lingers.
The formula is vegan and 91% of the ingredients are of natural origin. The bottle is refillable for the first time: you unscrew the atomiser pump, screw on the 150 ml refill and the refilling stops automatically once the bottle is full. The cap is 100% wood, made from a single piece, so no plastic is involved.
