The Gillette Skinguard Sensitive shaving system is designed for skin that reacts quickly to shaving. Between the blades is a protective strip, the so-called Skinguard technology. That strip keeps a distance between blade and skin, putting less strain on the skin while shaving.
The blades are positioned so that they shave close to the skin and spread the pressure evenly, instead of concentrating it on one point. According to the manufacturer, this reduces irritation and redness during shaving.
The handle is ergonomically shaped and gives grip and control when guiding the shaving head. This is not a disposable razor: the handle stays in use and only the blade is replaced. A separate refill blade is included.
The shaving system is intended for the face and is positioned by the manufacturer as a men's razor.
