About this product longer description
The edding 8400 is a multimedia permanent marker designed for writing on CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs. The combination of a soft round tip and pigment ink means you can mark permanently without damaging the surface of the disc.
The ink is water-based and contains no solvents. Together with the soft tip, this makes the marker safe for CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs. Once applied, the text is smudge-proof and water-resistant, light-fast and quick-drying.
The marker has a plastic barrel and a cap with a pocket clip. The line width is between 0.5 and 1 mm, so you can still write legibly even on a narrow label area. Besides CDs, the marker can also be used on other data storage media.
The set is useful for data security in the office and for a personal archive at home: with four colours, you can tell discs apart by category or by user. The markers are manufactured in Germany and are recommended by VERBATIM.
