The Denver SWK-120GN is a smartwatch made for children. The rectangular plastic case of 46 mm has a 1.75 inch touchscreen with a resolution of 240 x 280 pixels and a digital watch face that you can customise. The silicone strap fits a wrist circumference of 156 to 226 mm.
Via Bluetooth 5.3, you pair the watch with a smartphone running Android or iOS. Your child can then make calls from the smartwatch, and notifications from texts, emails and social media arrive on the screen. There's no SIM card inside and the watch does not go online on its own: the connection always runs via the phone, where the accompanying app is also needed for all functions.
For exercise, there are more than 130 sport modes, from walking and running to cycling and tennis, plus GPS via the paired smartphone. The heart rate and sleep monitor and the blood pressure measurement give insight into health and habits. Built-in games and support for the Google Assistant and Siri also make the watch useful beyond sport.
The battery has a capacity of 210 mAh and lasts up to three days with intensive use. You charge it with the included USB cable. Denver provides the model with at least 24 months of software support after its launch date in 2025.
