PETG is a printing material chosen for its combination of flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. This filament has a diameter of 1.75 mm, so it can be used on FDM and FFF printers, including printers with an open system.
Print at a nozzle temperature of 230 to 250 °C and a bed temperature of 70 to 80 °C. The recommended print speed is between 40 and 80 mm/s. According to the manufacturer, no settings other than the print head and bed temperature are needed; extensive calibration is not required.
The material is resistant to UV radiation, moisture and changing temperatures, which makes it usable for parts used outdoors or in changing conditions. Think of mechanical elements or models that need to be able to take a load.
The black colour has a glossy finish. Thanks to the constant diameter of the filament, surfaces come out of the printer evenly.
