About this product longer description
The Braun Series 9 BT9440 is a beard trimmer for men built around trimming, edging, detailing and fading. The ProBlade trimmer attachment works together with AutoSense technology, which adapts the trimming to the hair density for an even result.
You set the length via a dial mechanism: the ProWheel offers 40 settings between 0.5 and 20 mm. With ProLock you lock the chosen setting, so it doesn't accidentally shift while trimming. For finer lines there are separate attachments for detail work and edging, plus combs for beard, hair and fading.
The trimmer runs cordless on a lithium-ion battery with a battery indicator and charges via the included charging stand. It can be rinsed under the tap and has IP64 certification: fully dust-tight and splash-proof. Wet and dry use is possible. The box also includes a Gillette ProGlide shaving system with a refill blade for finishing sharp lines.

Yes, the trimmer can be rinsed and has IP64 certification: fully dust-tight and splash-proof. Wet and dry use is possible. A cleaning brush is also included for loose hair.
How many lengths can I set?
You choose from 40 length settings between 0.5 and 20 mm. You set the length via the dial and lock your choice with ProLock, so the setting doesn't shift while trimming.
Can I use the trimmer while it's charging?
No, use isn't possible while charging. The lithium-ion battery charges in 2.5 hours via the charging stand and a power outlet; this model doesn't have a fast-charging function. A battery indicator shows the charge status.
What language are the manual and packaging in?
Both the manual and the packaging are in French. Keep this in mind if you'd prefer Dutch-language instructions with your device.
