About this product longer description
The Belkin BOOST↑CHARGE braided cable connects a USB-C connector to a USB 2.0 A connector. This lets you charge devices with a USB-C port from a charger, laptop or car charger with a USB-A output, while also transferring files at the same time.
The outer layer is made of braided nylon. According to Belkin, this makes the cable last up to 30 times longer than a standard cable; tests show that it can be bent 30,000 times without loss of quality. The connectors have reinforced strain relief, the point where cables wear out first from daily plugging and unplugging.
For charging, the cable supports a current of up to 3 amps, so devices that support fast charging can make use of it. Data transfers at a speed of up to 480 Mbps. The cable is USB-C IF certified.
