About this product longer description
The Aqara Pet Feeder C1 is an automatic dry food feeder that connects to an Aqara Hub via Zigbee 3.0. From the Aqara Home app, you set feeding schedules and automations, so the feeder can also be triggered by sensors or controllers.
The schedule function runs locally on the feeder itself. If the internet or hub is temporarily down, the schedule you set keeps running as normal. In the app, you see statistics on how much food has been given and set the portions in grams.
The food tank has a volume of 4 litres, enough for around 1.7 kg of food. According to the manufacturer, that's about a month's worth of food for a 4 kg cat, based on 50 grams per day. The feeder is suitable for cats and dogs up to around 15 kg. A desiccant keeps the food fresh, and the anti-spill design keeps the area around it tidy. Parts that come into contact with food can be cleaned.
A built-in microphone lets you record your own message, which plays at feeding time. Via an Aqara Hub, the feeder works together with Siri, Alexa, Google Assistant and IFTTT.
